The Horn Player's Tale

  • Flat 8 6 Pear Tree Court EC1R 0DW (map)

It can fill you with joy or make you cry. It can drive you to hope or despair. It can send you to sleep, or to war. The French horn is one of the most versatile instruments in the orchestra and one of the hardest to play, and it has a fascinating back-story. Join us on a journey from the hunt to the concert hall, from the 16th century to the 21st, for an intimate (and probably, at times, rather noisy) evening of horn music and history. Tickets for this event are free but limited in number, so get yours quickly to avoid missing out!
